The last day of arrivals and rehearsals before the show days produced some dramatic action. The last few arrivals have tricked in throughout the day including the RAF's first Harrier GR9 and the Spanish Citation. Most of the RAF's fast jet participation arrived too for the static and flying displays. We also saw repeat rehearsals from the USAF F-16CJ, Dutch AH-64D and French Mirages. Also all of the RAF fast jets and other display teams rehearsed. But it was Typhoon which proved to be the major talking point. During his rehearsal during a vector rolls it appeared that the aircraft lost too much height with little height over the runway. The pilot clearly aware of the problem climbed to height to check over his aircraft and burn off excess fuel. It's far to early to speculate about possible causes.  Later on, he went up performing a revised display without incident and he should be seen tomorrow.
