to Flightline UK's coverage of the Royal International
Air Tattoo 2006 at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.
The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) is the
largest military airshow in world regualrly boasting
line-ups of 300 or more aircraft. In 2006 RIAT's
main theme was "Rapid Global Effect" and
takes in all manner of aircraft involved in deploying
men and equipment around the world. There was also many aircraft from the manufacturers this year
with Farnborough being held the week after Fairford
as well as some great joint formations that all
went together to make one of the world's greatest
airshows.
