The Organisers of the RAFA Shoreham Airshow are pleased to announce that the 2008 event will take place at Shoreham Airport on August 30th and 31st.

Following the tragic incident at the 2007 event and the support the organisers have had we feel it would be the best thing to do to carry on for the 19th year. This is what the late Brian Brown would have wanted and the current display pilots have requested alongside the many members of the public that attended this year’s airshow.

The dates have been moved to fit in with other UK Aviation events and to give us an opportunity to get some different displays in from outside the UK whilst keeping the war birds theme that has made this event the success it now is.

There will be the airfield scramble and this will be a fitting tribute to Brian from those that new him so well.

A theme for the 2008 show will be announced later this year and regular media up-dates will be sent as plans develop.
