RAF Waddington International Airshow 2008 - PREVIEW
 5th - 6th July 2008

What?

The RAF Waddington International Airshow is the largest of the RAF's three annual airshows and the only two day event. As such, Waddington has a history of attracting some very rare aircraft from a number of foreign air arms in recent years that have included Israeli F-15i Ra'ams, A-4SU's from the Singapore Air Force as well as a number of aircraft from eastern Europe. Add to this perhaps the best organised show and you have one of the best airshows of the year popular with air forces, aircrew and enthusiasts alike. Waddington itself is home to all of the RAF's recconnaisance assets which include the E-3D Sentry and Nimrod R1 aircraft seldom seen at other shows. Waddington is also home to the new Sentinel R1 which is currently equipping No 5 (AC) Squadron
