It
was an arly start for the arrivals
this year with a B-1B Lancer
appearing just around 8am. In
stark constrast to last year,
the weather was reasonably fair
for the first arrivals day with
early morning overcast and drizzle
giving way to sunny cloud dappled
skies. It was however a slightly
slow day with relatively few
arrivals and the odd rehearsal.
Star of the day was the specially
marked French Navy Lynx which
showed off it's marked to enthusiasts
at the Park and View areas.
Other highlights included a
German EF2000 Two-seater, a
trio of Swedish Gripens, a pair
of Hungarian Gripens and the
arrival of the Frecce Tricolori
and Swiss Air Force PC-7 Team.
