RAFA Shoreham Airshow 2010- 21st-22nd August - Preview

The Royal Air Forces Association Airshow at Shoreham has grown into one of the best in the UK. The picturesque Shoreham Airport provides the perfect arena for a superb family airshow featuring many favourites. The centrepiece of the flying display is the "Scramble" which sees Spitfires, Hurricanes and Messerchmitts in the air supported by pyrotechnics and re-enactors on the ground. The modern day Royal Air Force always supports the show well too. To date, some £1.5 million has been raised by the airshow for the Royal Air Forces Assocation alone and the show also supports other charities.
