UK Airshow Calendar - June 2012

• 2nd - Shepway Jubilee Airshow - Folkestone, Kent - Return of the popular seafront airshow held off the Leas, Folkestone to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. More info to follow CT20 2EB
   
• 2nd - Rye Jubilee Airshow - Rye, East Sussex - Town airshow celebrating the Queen's Jubilee Airshow More info to follow TN31 7TX
   
• 3rd - Shuttleworth Midsummer Airshow - Old Warden, Bedfordshire - Hopefully some fine midsummer weather will add to the atmosphere at Old Warden's second display of the year. SG18 9EP
   
• 3rd - Whitehaven Festival Diamond Jubilee Airshow - Whitehaven, Cumbria - Three day town festival concludes with a small flying display along the seafront.
   
• 8th - Dawlish Airshow - Devon - A change in date for 2012. The small but perfectly formed seaside airshow offering some varied views of the flying display along the iconic Dawlish coastline.
   
• 9th-10th - Cleethorpes Festival of Flight - Lincolnshire - A new event held in Cleethorpes with support from modern military aircraft and warbirds. Friday evening will see a launch event before two main events days over the weekend.
   
• 9th-10th - Air Britain Classic Fly-in - North Weald, Essex - The Air-Britain's Fly-In is organised by Air-Britain Ltd and is the longest established UK Fly-In organised independently by and for aviation enthusiasts. It offers pilots and aviators the opportunity to see what Air-Britain offers and provides aviation enthusiasts with the opportunity to appreciate, photograph and talk with the operators of the aircraft. CM16 6HR
   
• 15th-17th - Cholmondeley Pageant of Power - Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire - The Cholmondeley Estate will welcome the cream of classic and modern performance and race cars, as well as racing bikes, helicopters, aerobatics, powerboats, explosive military combat displays, hovercrafts, fireworks concert, and much, much more. SY14 8AH
   
• 16th - Throckmorton Airshow 2012 - Throckmorton Airfield, Worcestershire - The Throckmorton Air Show is the premier police and military aviation show in the UK. WR10 2LW
   
• 16th - June Evening Airshow - Old Warden, Bedfordshire - The second evening show at Old Warden of the year. SG18 9EP
   
• 16th - The Merlin Pageant - Hucknall, Nottinghamshire - A day of classic wings and wheels. NG15 6EU
   
• CANCELLED - Margate's Big Event - Margate, Kent - A full flying display along the seafront at Palm Bay accompanies a packed ground show with live music and street entertainers CT9 3DF
   
• 16th-17th - Wings & Wheels - Wickenby, Lincolnshire - Small fly-in and air display at this popular GA airfield in Lincolnshire LN3 5AX
   
• 16th-17th - Weston Park Model Show - Weston Park, Shropshire - Model Airshow with full size acts in the grounds of Weston Park. TF11 8LE
   
• 16th-17th - Army Flying Association 75th Anniversary Fly-In - Middle Wallop, Hampshire - A Fly-in of related Army Flying types to celebrate the 75th ANniversary of the AFC SO20 8DY
   
• 17th - RAF Cosford Airshow 2012 - DCAE Cosford, Shropshire - The first RAF organised show of the year featured a varied mix of modern military, warbirds and civilian displays at this old-fashioned RAF base. WV7 3EY
   
• 17th - Welshpool Airshow - Mid Wales Airport, Welshpool, Powys - Fun days flying in the heart of Wales with RAF Participation SY21 8SG
   
• 17th - Wellesbourne Wings and Wheels - Wellesbourne, Warwickshire - Classic Cars and a fly-in alongside a taxy run by resident Vulcan XM655 CV35 9EU
   
• 23rd - RNAS Yeovilton International Air Day 2012 - Somerset - . One of many airshows to change it's dates due to the London Olympic Games. The Royal Navy's biggest airshow of the year with extensive air and ground displays for the UK and beyond BA22 8HB
   
• 23rd - RAF Musical Salute to the Queen's Jubilee - Loseley Park, Surrey - . RAF Bands will pay tribute to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee accompanied by some select flying participants GU3 1HS
   
• 23rd-24th - Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival - Suffolk - One of the large Seafront airshows held along some of Suffolk's finest beaches. NR33 0PQ
   
• 24th - Old Buckenham Airshow - Old Buckenham, Norfolk - A welcome return for one of the nicest small airshows in the UK. Old Buckenham is a former USAAF base and warbirds feature well in the afternoon flying display alongside some of the best civilian displays. NR17 1PU
   
• 24th - Kirkbride Airfield Open Day and Fly-In - Kirkbride, Cumbria - Featuring displays by an OH-6A Loach, MK26 Spitfire and a Silence Twister. Plus a large turn out of light aircraft weather permitting. all held in aid of the Eden Valley Hospice.. CA7 5HP
   
• 29th-1st July - Festival of Speed - Goodwood, West Sussex - Large motorsports event with flying displays over the grounds of Goodwood House PO18 0PX
   
• 30th - Pirton Summer Fair - Hertfordshire - Flying display is a highlight of the annual Pirton Summer Fair. The Fair runs from 1400 t0 1700 local.  
   
• 30th-1st July - RAF Waddington International Airshow - Lincolnshire - The RAF's premier air show of the year with support from all of the RAF display assets as well as the Royal Navy and Army. LN5 9NB
   
• 30th-1st July - Flying Legends 2012 - IWM Duxford, Cambridgeshire - Europe's, if not the World's premier warbird airshow which year on year attracts aircraft from across Europes and sometimes from the US too. CB22 4QR
   
• 30th-1st July - The Great North Fly In - Eshott Airfield, Northumberland - The event is designed to appeal to everyone who has an interest in aviation. The concept is to meet the needs of all aviators hopefully getting bigger and better this year, also to get as many flyers of whatever aircraft to attend the event, as well as other contributors and to have a lot of fun. The show hopes to have a variety of interesting aircraft large and small. All profits will go to the "THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION", "HELP FOR HEROES" and the "FUSILIER AID SOCIETY" . NE65 9QJ
