UK Airshow Calendar - September 2012
- 30th August-2nd - Bournemouth Air Festival - Bournemouth Seafront, Dorset - The free four day seafront airshow is now
established as one of the countries premier seaside airshows. Expect strong RAF Support alongside some
airshow favourities from the civilian world.

- 30th August-1st - Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta - Devon - The Regatta is based around a programme of rowing and sailing events, but also incorporates a busy programme of activities including air displays, fireworks, a large fair, and many other smaller events that happen in and around the town centre.TQ6 9PS
- 31st August-1st - LAA Rally - Sywell Aerdrome, Northamptonshire - The LAA Sywell Rally is growing year on year and the Rally Team continues to look at ways of enhancing the event even further. 2012 will see the return of the popular Homebuilder Tent, where you will find part built projects, Engineering department personnel, tutors in a range of aircraft build techniques and so much more that explains the hows and whys of building or maintaining your own aircraft. - 1st-2nd - Shoreham Airshow 2012 - Shoreham Airport, West Sussex - The annual Royal Air Forces Association airshow has become one of the best airshows in the country with it's unique "Battle of Britain Scramble" and strong support from the Royal Air Force set against the stunning backdrop of Lancing College. - 1st-2nd - Fly to the Past 2012 - Oxford Airport, Oxfordshire - A mix of classic and vintage aircraft take to the skies over Oxford Airport.
- 2nd - Shuttleworth Pagaent Airshow - Old Warden, Bedfordshire - The Pagaent features only aircraft that are part of, or have been part of this world famous collection. SG18 9EP
- 8th-9th - Northern Ireland Diamond Jubilee International Airshow - Portrush, Coleriaine, Northern Ireland A free 2-day seaside show with air displays and ground attractions. The picturesque coast around Portrush plays host to an impressive line-up of military and civilian display acts.
- 8th-9th - Southport Airshow - Southport Seafront, Lancashire - Unique venue in the UK with airshow taking place over
the extensives sands rather than over water. PR8 1SB
- 8th-9th - Victory Show 2012 - Foxlands Farm, Cosby, Leicestershire - Big battle re-enactments with authentic military hardware and flying displays from historic aircraftLE9 1SG
- 8th-9th - Duxford Air Show - IWM Duxford, Cambridgeshire
The two day Duxford Air Show is IWM's biggest event of the year attracting a wide range of display acts covering modern military, warbirds and cvilian acts CB22 4QR
- 9th - Seething Charity Air Day - Seething Airfield, Norfolk - Seething Airfield plays host to the annual Charity Airday with its usual varied mix of displays and aerobatics. NR15 1EL
- 13th - Jersey International Air Display -St Aubin's Bay, St Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands - One of the most exciting displays on the UK circuit takes places in St Aubins Bay adjacent to the island's capital - St Helier. Past highlights have been the Patrouille de France and J29 Tunnan from Sweden
The 2012 display will feature will feature Tutor, Tucano, Hawk, King Air, BBMF Lancaster, Spitfire, Hurricane and Reds; Black Cats, Merlin and Sea King static; Swedish Historic Flight Saab Viggen, J29 Tunnan and Sk60(Saab 105); Groupe Trenchant Fouga Magister x 4 and Max Holste Broussard and electrically powered Cri Cri. The last combination will involve the first launch in flight of an aircraft from an aircraft in Great Britain since the Short Mayo and Mercury in 1938-1939
- 13th - Guernsey RAFA/Battle of Britain Air Display - St Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands - Taking place the same day as the Jersey Air Display is the RAFA show off the coast of Guernsey.
- 14th-16th - Goodwood Revival - Goodwood Aerodrome and Circuit, West Sussex- The Goodwood Revival really is a magical step back in time, a unique chance to revel in the glamour and allure of motor racing in the romantic time capsule of the golden era of motor racing at one of the world’s most authentic circuits with displays from the very best warbirds and a stunning fly-in for the Freddie March Trophy PO18 0PH

- RAFBF Airshow - East Kirkby, Lincolnshire - Relaxed and charming flying display held at the home of the
Lancaster "Just Jane"

- 15th - RAF Leuchars Airshow - RAF Leuchars, Fife - The RAF's last major show of the year is held north of the
border at the latest Typhoon base at Leuchars. Expect strong support from the RAF as well as european military, warbird and civilian teams.KY16 0BX
- 22nd - Shuttleworth Uncovered - Old Warden, Bedfordshire - The final evening air display of the year is a unique chance to get up close to the stunning machinery at the collection and meet the people who care for and fly it! SG18 9EP
- 26th-27th - The Helicopter Show - Silverstone, Northamptonshire - With its ‘exclusively helicopters’ profile and carefully targeted audience, The Helicopter Show is a highly cost-effective sales & marketing platform and an unrivalled opportunity to meet and secure business.
