Airshow Features 2005
The Romainian Air Force deployed a number of MiG-21 Lancers to the UK during the summer, and the veteran cols war fighter made appearances at Waddington and RIAT. The RAF Jaguar GR3 also gave it's final year of solo displays before it's perhaps premature retirement and the closure of RAF Coltishall. Another farewell came from the Royal Navy's Sea Harrier which gave a low-key final display appearance at RNAS Yeovilton in September. Elsewhere, the swedish SAAB B17A also made it's UK display debut at Flying Legends and we welcomed the new Dunsfold Wings and Wheels airshow.Click on an event below to view a fully illustrated review of the event.
