Army Air Corps Historic Aircraft Flight

The HAF fly the only mixed fixed and rotary wing formation display in the UK with types representing the proud history of the Army Air Corps. Typically you will see a formation of DHC Beaver, DHC Chipmunk, Auster AOP9, Westland Sioux. Westland Scout and Alouette II. The HAF also have a Saro Skeeter though this will not be able fly again.

The majority of displays take place within a short distance of Middle Wallop in order to preserve flying hours. They are limited by the AHAF charter to only attend Airshows and other events within a 100 mile radius of Middle Wallop though exceptions do occur.

The Flight displays at a number of events during the season and is available to any individual or organisation as single aircraft (within the parameters of the AHAF Charter). Where possible, the team will land after a display and perform a static display, offering the opportunity for the public to obtain a closer look at these fascinating flying machines.
