
RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team
The RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team are from the No.1 Parachute Training School based at RAF Brize Norton on Oxfordshire. Team members are all Parachute Jump Instructors. Each year they complete a number of displays in the UK and abroad at airshows, sporting events and many other special events.They have become famous for the unique stack formation that forms the backbone of the their parachuting display. THe team are often supported by RAF transport aircraft and helicopters such as the Hercules and Chinook. They have also jumped from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Dakota. However, in recent years, operational reasons have meant the team have been left without RAF assets and are therefore cleared to jump from a number of civilian types.
